PARENTS & FAMILIES

Partnering With Families for Student Success

Parents and guardians are essential partners in a student's learning journey. This resource center explains how students begin, what families can expect, and how we can work together to support consistent growth.

YOUR CHILD'S LEARNING JOURNEY

From Registration to Meaningful Progress

Our process is designed to understand each student before final placement and provide a clear path for continued learning.

1

Registration

Parents or guardians submit family and student information so our team can understand the learner's background and prepare for the next step.

2

Assessment

Every student receives an Arabic/Quran reading assessment before final placement, regardless of previously reported experience.

3

Placement

Assessment results help determine the student's appropriate starting point within the learning pathway.

4

Learning & Progress

Teachers support the student at the assigned level and monitor readiness for continued progression.

Important: information provided by parents helps us prepare, but it does not determine final placement. Every student is assessed for Arabic/Quran reading readiness before a final learning level is assigned.

ASSESSMENT & PLACEMENT

Starting at the Right Level

Students arrive with different learning experiences. Assessment allows us to identify current reading ability and readiness rather than relying only on age, grade, or previous study.

✓

Arabic reading readiness
We identify whether foundational Arabic reading support is needed.

✓

Quran reading ability
Reading fluency and current Quran experience help inform placement.

✓

Memorization readiness
Structured Quran memorization (Hifz) progresses after the necessary reading readiness is demonstrated.

WEEKEND PREPARATION

Helping Students Arrive Ready to Learn

Simple preparation at home can help students make better use of their instructional time and build consistent learning habits.

1

Arrive Ready

Help your child arrive prepared to participate, learn, review, and engage respectfully throughout the program.

2

Bring Learning Materials

Students should bring the learning materials communicated by their teacher or program team.

3

Practice at Home

Regular review between learning sessions reinforces reading, memorization, and skills developed during class.

4

Stay Connected

Review center communications and share relevant questions or changes that may affect your child's participation.

PARENT PARTNERSHIP

Working Together Matters

Student progress is strengthened when families and teachers share expectations, communicate respectfully, and reinforce consistent learning habits.

✓

Encourage consistency
Support regular participation and continued practice at home.

✓

Support good character
Reinforce respect, responsibility, discipline, and good conduct.

✓

Communicate with us
Share questions or relevant information that can help us better support your child.
